Hilary Duff Recreates Iconic ‘Lizzie McGuire Movie’ Moment at Trevi Fountain Replica Ahead of Wednesday Announcement | Just Jared

Hilary Duff got fans’ attention with a new video on Instagram on Tuesday (September 22)!

The 38-year-old “Weather for Tennis” singer and actress shared a new clip of herself recreating a moment from The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

In the clip, Hilary appears to wear a wig with bangs to look more like she did in the Disney movie, as she sits on the edge of the Trevi Fountain replica at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. She then quotes, “Okay,” and tosses a coin behind her before smiling, getting up and walking away.

“any guesses what I wished for …,” she wrote in the caption, along with emojis she’s been using since her music comeback, including the disco ball and cherries.

The moment from The Lizzie McGuire Movie she recreated is from a scene where her class trip is visiting the real Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy. Gordo says he’s good and doesn’t need to make a wish, telling Lizzie to make one.

After she does and tosses the coin over hear head and into the fountain before, when she opens her eyes, she’s met with the gaze of Paolo Valisari, the Italian pop star.

Hilary‘s post about making a wish comes one week after she last performed a show on The Lucky Me Tour in London, where she teased more 2027 tour dates were coming. She also shared a countdown on her website that ends on Wednesday morning (September 23)!
