The newest season of the Ryan Murphy-produced Monster is out and this time it focuses on Lizzie Borden. Actress Ella Beatty steps into the lead role in the Netflix series.

For those unfamiliar with Ella, she is the daughter of actors Annette Bening and Warren Beatty. She is the youngest of four children overall and was born in 2000, making her just 26 years old.

She graduated from The Juilliard School in 2022 and went on to star in the Broadway show Appropriate.

On the film and television side, Ella is best known for starring in another Ryan Murphy role, Feud: Capote vs. The Swans. And she will also star in the upcoming production of The Bell Jar alongside Carey Mulligan, Billie Eilish, and Connor Storrie.

Ella‘s parents are the five-time Academy Award nominee Annette Bening, who is best known for American Beauty, The Kids Are All Right, Being Julia, Nyad, and, more recently, The Bride!, Lucky, Apples Never Fall, and Dutton Ranch.

Annette married Warren Beatty in 1992. Warren is best known for being an actor and a filmmaker, with projects like Bonnie and Clyde, Reds, Bugsy, Heaven Can Wait, and Rules Don’t Apply. Warren is also the younger brother of Shirley MacLaine and he has an Academy Award and 14 nominations.
