Cardi B is shutting down any rumors circulating about her rekindling her romance with Offset.
The rapper never minces her words, and that was definitely the case when she recently addressed her relationship with Offset.
The “WAP” rapper took to X on Wednesday, Sept. 16 to shut down speculation that she had rekindled things with her ex-husband. In now-deleted tweets, screenshot by Complex, Cardi responded to these rumors, which were apparently started with a tabloid account.
“Never in your life never in THIS life… mf’ers could go through that man text, phone, whatever… NEVER would you catch me doing that,” she wrote. “I don’t flirt, I don’t give no inch of possibility. S–t put a private investigator on me and I put that on my kids life in the name of Jesus!!!”
The speculation was reportedly fueled by an X user believed to be model Melanie Jayda, who has been linked to Offset in the past.
The user went on a reposting spree, appearing to call out an unnamed baby mama for allegedly hooking up with her baby daddy again despite the two not being together. She later clarified that the posts weren’t directed at anyone in particular.
Cardi and Offset have had a complicated relationship since splitting. Cardi filed for divorce from the Migos rapper for a second time in July 2024 after seven years of marriage. The former couple shares three children, Kulture, Blossom and Wave.
Their divorce has yet to be finalized due to ongoing legal proceedings.
During a March appearance on Aspire With Emma Grede, Cardi opened up about how much she had changed over the past year.
“I feel like last year, a new person was reborn,” she said. “I don’t know if it was the divorce. I don’t know if something woke me up. I feel like I’m definitely a new person.”
Cardi has also moved on romantically since her split from Offset. She welcomed her fourth child, and first with NFL star Stefon Diggs, in November 2025. The pair, however, appeared to call it quits during the first quarter of this year.
Meanwhile, Cardi is already looking ahead to what’s next in her career.
The 33-year-old hopped on Spaces on Wednesday and teased a major tour for next year, including dates in Europe. She also hinted that she’s making some changes behind the scenes with her team.
“Next year, I’m gonna have a humongous tour,” Cardi said. “I’m going to Europe. This year’s going to be really, really, really good for y’all.”
