Joseline Hernandez isn’t upset by the Rihanna comparisons, even if that means being the “evil” version.
Hernandez was a guest on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast this week, where she opened up about sobriety, Love & Hip Hop, and her past as a stripper.
While the conversation definitely had some darker moments, one topic that brought a lot of levity to the interview was when Sharpe asked about the resemblance between her and Rihanna. Before admitting that she does have similar “vibes” to the Fenty Founder, Joseline told a story about running into A$AP Rocky in Paris during Fashion Week.
“I just seen her husband in Paris, when I was with my husband, and he was like, ‘You’re Rihanna’s evil twin.’ I was like ‘Me? Why do I got to be the evil twin?’ I was cracking up ’cause I was like, ‘damn, why am I the evil twin?’ But he was actually saying that she love us, that she loves me and my husband and that she really f**ks with us, and stuff like that.”
She continued, “People do say I look like her. I think she’s gorgeous. I think we give some of the same vibes”
Joseline also confirmed during the interview that she turned down $50,000 a month (or an episode, she doesn’t remember) to be a co-host on The Real. The reality star said that she was too young for that opportunity at the time, saying she didn’t want to turn into “another Wendy Williams” while gossiping with a table full of other women.
“I got s**t to do I don’t want to be sitting down there with them old h**s talking about everybody in the world and just gossiping and just being another Wendy Williams,” she told Sharpe.
Hernandez also took the opportunity to shut down claims that she and Tory Lanez had a relationship, which came toward the end of the episode when Sharpe mentioned that she was “cool” with Tory Lanez.
“I ain’t cool with that n****. Who the f**k told you that?” she fired back.
“No, I don’t got no beef with him,” Joseline said before briefly addressing the incident that ultimately sent Lanez to prison and pointing out that they “never had no relationship like that.”
