Jack Antonoff Breaks His Silence on Margaret Qualley Split | Just Jared

Jack Antonoff is poking some fun at his split from wife Margaret Qualley.

If you didn’t see, it was announced back in July that the 42-year-old musician and the 31-year-old Emmy-nominated actress had separated after three years of marriage.

On Tuesday night (September 15), Jack was performing at the Troubadour in Los Angeles when he shared his first public comments about the split.

During the show, a fan in the audience requested that Jack play his 2017 Bleachers song “Let’s Get Married,” which was his wedding song at his 2023 nuptials to Margaret.

“Absolutely not,” Jack said with a laugh, per USA Today. “Read the news, brother.”

The crowd subsequently erupted in laughter before Jack noted that he “love[s] that song” and that he wrote it 11 years ago.

If you didn’t know, Margaret and Jack first started dating in 2021 and announced their engagement the following year. They wed on Long Beach Island, NJ in 2023

Shortly after news of their split was made public, Margaret‘s rep spoke out to deny some rumors about what led to the end of their marriage.
