Dakota Johnson & Machine Gun Kelly Dating? New Report Says They’re 'Smitten'

Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly might be more than just friends.

The 36-year-old Fifty Shades actress and the 36-year-old “my ex’s best friend” musician sparked romance rumors earlier this month after they were spotted spending time together in New York City, including a private hangout at Taylor Swift‘s apartment.

At the time, there was no confirmation about whether their relationship was romantic.

Now, a new report claims the two have actually been seeing each other for months.

A source close to MGK tells People that he and Dakota “have been hanging out and seeing each other under the radar for months now.”

The source says they had met before, but “hit it off” at Taylor and Travis Kelce‘s wedding in July.

“[They] started off as friends and were texting often, but now they’re spending more time together,” the insider said. “It’s a very new start, but they’re smitten with each other right now.”

The source added that MGK is “very into” Dakota and has reportedly been telling friends that she is “amazing.”

However, it sounds like the two are still keeping things casual for now.

“They haven’t put a label on their relationship yet, they are just seeing where spending time together will take them,” the first source said.

A second source told the outlet that Dakota and MGK have “been hanging out for a bit,” but described things between them as “super casual.”

The new report comes days after the pair were photographed arriving at Taylor‘s New York City apartment together before later returning to a hotel.

Dakota was previously linked to singer Role Model, with news of their split emerging in August.

MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, was previously in an on-and-off relationship with Megan Fox. The exes share 1-year-old daughter Saga Blade.

Reps for Dakota and MGK have not commented on the new report.
