The 35-year-old actor was spotted in his standard workout outfit, a black top and black pants with a black hat, while leaving the gym on Tuesday (September 8) in Los Angeles.

Austin has been hard at work on his fitness these days while preparing for his role in the upcoming movie Miami Vice ’85.

Austin Butler will soon begin filming Miami Vice ’85

Austin‘s next project is the upcoming movie Miami Vice ’85, in which he will star opposite Oscar winner Michael B. Jordan.

Deadline reports that the movie is based on the pilot episode of the Miami Vice television series and “explores the glamour and corruption of mid-1980s Miami.” The film will be directed by Joseph Kosinski and more actors attached include Alden Ehrenreich, Whitney Peak, and Camila Morrone.

The movie will begin production this year and is set for a May 19, 2028 theatrical release. The movie is being filmed for IMAX.
