Carrie Underwood Surprises Country Music Fans by Performing Rock & Metal Covers at Festival in Iowa

Carrie Underwood surprised some of her fans by performing rock ‘n roll and metal covers during her appearance at the Velocity Festival over the weekend.
The country music icon, 43, performed live on Saturday night (September 5) at the Field of Dreams movie site in Dyersville, Iowa.
While Carrie did perform all of her biggest country hits during the 23-song set, she did several covers that likely took fans by surprise, including Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park songs.

Carrie performed her songs like “Before He Cheats,” “Jesus Take the Wheel,” “Something in the Water,” and “Cowboy Casanova.”
She also covered bands like Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, and Guns N’ Roses.
Carrie is known for being a longtime Guns N’ Roses fan and teaming up with the band for performances throughout the years.
