Ethan Hawke is making a rare red carpet appearance with his family!

The 55-year-old Oscar-nominated actor was joined by wife Ryan and youngest daughter Indiana, 15, at the 2026 Deauville American Film Festival on Friday (September 4) in Deauville, France.

Ethan and Ryan matched in black outfits while their teen daughter wore a white dress.

The trio attended the film festival as Ethan was honored for his career as his new movie The Weight is listed as one of the movies set to premiere. The movie hits theaters on September 18.

Here’s the synopsis for the historical survival thriller:

When Samuel (Ethan Hawke) is torn from his daughter and sent to a brutal prison, Warden Clancy (Russell Crowe) offers him a high-stakes proposition: smuggle gold out of a remote mine with a dangerous crew of prisoners and he’ll win his freedom.

Directed by Padraic McKinley, The Weight hits theaters on September 18.

Ethan and Ryan, who have been married since 2008, are also parents to 18-year-old Clementine Jane Hawke. The Black Phone actor also shares two older children – Maya Hawke, 28, and Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, 24 – with ex-wife Uma Thurman, whom he was married to from 1998 to 2005.

In an interview from last year, Ethan reflected on Maya‘s childhood, admitting that some parts were “really, really hard.”
