Adéla has dropped her brand new song “Nicole Kidman” off her debut album PRIMA.

The song has received a lot of buzz after Nicole Kidman herself commented on the track and said she’s going to attend Adéla‘s upcoming Nashville concert.

Adéla previously explained the meaning and inspiration for the song. She told W Magazine, “Somehow, I got invited to a Golden Globes event. I’ve never been in a movie, but I got all glammed up, put into a dress, had my hair done, and I looked really good. My hair was super bouncy, and my corset was so tight that I thought, ‘I feel like Nicole Kidman right now’. I actually watched Eyes Wide Shut, and became obsessed with her. To me, she is ‘the’ movie star.”

In the lyrics of the song, Adéla references Nicole‘s movies Moulin Rouge and Babygirl and she also pays homage to the films in the music video. She also references the AMC Theatres ad!

“Every single night / I pray that my tits are sittin’ right / Moulin Rouge, my corset is so tight / Babygirl in control, I feel like Nicole,” she sings in the chorus.

The North American leg of Adela‘s tour begins on September 9 and she’ll be traveling around the continent for the next month!
