The latest movie in the Insidious franchise is now playing in theaters.

Insidious: Out of the Further is the newest supernatural horror movie in the popular horror film series and it features the return of Lin Shaye as Elise Rainier. Not only that, but it currently boasts the second-highest Rotten Tomatoes score in the franchise, falling just underneath the original 2010 film.

While Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne did not return for this movie, it does also star Amelia Eve, Brandon Perea, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers.

The horror movie has an average runtime of 1 hour and 46 minutes (106 minutes), but it’s always a good idea to plan ahead if you know you frequently have to go to the bathroom in the theater.

Before the 30-minute mark

If you don’t have time to go before the movie, then any time in the first 30 minutes is better than later in the movie as it involves more setup. It’s not unimportant, but it wouldn’t be hard to catch up if you miss a bit.

29 to 30 minutes in

If you didn’t get a chance to go to the bathroom beforehand, then the 29-minute mark is a good time to plan your first break. It’s the scene where Gemma wakes up from a nightmare with a pin stuck in her palm.

This scene is considered easy enough to sum up narratively that it won’t disrupt much.

65 to 67 minutes

Another moment happens at about the 1 hour and 5 minutes mark, or 65 minutes. It’s the scene where Gemma walks Maya to the neighbors house and starts with the line, “Get through the night.” It’s another relatively short scene that’s easy to get caught up on.

Find out if Insidious: Out of the Further has end credits scenes or if you can head out as soon as the credits start.
