Chris Hemsworth is hard at work on his new movie!
The 43-year-old actor arrived on set to film a few scenes for his upcoming Netflix movie Extraction 3 on Thursday (August 20) in Sydney, Australia.
For his time on set, Chris sported an unzipped black hoodie over a gray T-shirt paired with jeans.
In between takes, Chris was spotted chatting with crew members and getting notes from director Sam Hargrave.
It was announced back in April that Chris would be back as Tyler Rake, a former Australian SASR Operator turned black ops mercenary, in the third installment of the action movie series.
Golshifteh Farahani will be reprising the role of Nik Khan, a mercenary and Tyler’s partner, while Idris Elba will continue to play that mysterious stranger. Pierce Brosnan has joined the cast for the new movie.
In the 2020 movie, Tyler Rake embarks on the most deadly extraction of his career when he’s enlisted to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord. In the 2023 sequel, after barely surviving his grievous wounds from his mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Tyler Rake returns with his team for their next mission.
Along with the Extraction 3, it was also recently announced that an Extraction TV series in the works too, and a new name was just added to the cast.
