Lukas Gage Cast in New Movie 'Pumping Black,' Joins Natalie Portman & Jonathan Bailey In Thriller | Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Lukas Gage has found his next movie role!

The 31-year-old The White Lotus actor is set to join the cast of the upcoming psychological thriller movie Pumping Black, according to Deadline.

Lukas joins previously announced stars Natalie Portman and Jonathan Bailey, who are leading the cast.

Also new to the cast of the Mimi Cave-directed film is Industry actor Alex Akpobome!

Per Deadline, Pumping Black is set in the world of professional cycling and follows “cyclist Taylor Mace, who at 35 is finding himself aging out of the sport. He is taken under the wing of Andrea Lathe, a doctor driven by her own thirst for victory and power. As the race to the Tour de France progresses, Taylor must take increasingly dark measures to protect his secret.”

Described as being in the vein of Whiplash and Black Swan, the upcoming movie features a script by Haley Hope Bartels in her feature film debut.

Recently, Lukas co-starred in the Netflix movies People We Meet on Vacation and Voicemails for Isabelle. He is also set to star in the upcoming new Prison Break series.

Previously, Alex starred in the movie Mr Crocket, and has had recurring roles on shows such as Based on a True Story, Industry, Twenties, and For All Mankind.
