Phoebe Bridgers Diagnosed with Appendicitis, Cancels UK Shows This Week

Phoebe Bridgers has been hospitalized with appendicitis.
“I got appendicitis for my birthday,” she posted on her Instagram Story. She turned 32 years old on August 17.
She then proceeded to tell fans that she will be forced to cancel her UK events this week as she’s recovering. “everything in the UK this week will have to move but I’ll make it up to you!!!!” she shared.

The Mayo Clinic notes that appendicitis is usually treated with surgery, though Phoebe did not say if she underwent an operation.
Phoebe was actually supposed to appear on BBC’s Live Lounge later today, which will obviously be canceled. She also had a few shows set for this week as well.
She’s in the middle of her album release, as Lost Weekend just debuted last week.
Find out why one song in particular off of Phoebe‘s new album is gaining attention.
