Connor Storrie Descends Into Madness in First ‘April X’ Trailer Ahead of Sci-Fi Thriller’s Release

The highly anticipated Connor Storrie movie hits theaters on September 18, and the trailer just arrived on Wednesday (August 5).

Here’s the official synopsis:

When his twin sister April (Lilly Krug) goes missing, Bax (Storrie) searches every corner of their futuristic, post-Soviet cityscape to find her, ultimately descending into madness.

The movie was directed by Michel K. Parandi, and co-written by the director with Jack Coulton. It’s described as an “action, thriller, sci-fi,” with a runtime of 92 minutes and no official rating just yet. Watch the trailer above!

Sunrise Films and Rialto Distribution jointly acquired North American rights earlier this year, and is set to release the film in more than 500 theaters. It will also get international distribution. Get all the details.

Andrew Nerger of Sunrise Films previously provided a statement, via Deadline: “We are incredibly excited to bring Connor Storrie’s electrifying sci-fi thriller April X to theaters across the United States and Canada. The film is a high-concept, adrenaline-charged ride that pairs cutting-edge, cyberpunk world-building with gripping suspense, powered by Storrie’s magnetic star turn at its core.”

The 26-year-old Heated Rivalry star was photographed filming the movie back in 2024.
