James Marsden Spotted Filming ‘Paradise’ Season 3, Confirming He’ll Be Back as President Cal Bradford

James Marsden‘s future on the Hulu series Paradise has been confirmed!

The 52-year-old actor was killed off the show in season one, but he returned in season two through flashback scenes. It looks like that will happen again in season three.

James was spotted in a light blue shirt with a striped tie while walking around the set on Wednesday (July 29) in downtown Los Angeles.

Series creator Dan Fogelman previously teased his return

Dan confirmed there were plans to bring James back for season three.

“I have had roles for him in mind both in the second and third season as a way that he can play a part in the story,” he previously told EW.

He added, “Coming off of This Is Us for so long and knowing how it works when you’re dealing with shows that deal in time and when you have beloved characters in them, there are ways when you have flashbacks where, if it’s not moving the plot forward, it can move somebody’s character forward. And it keeps them in the ether of the show. So that was something that was always on my mind with James. I knew people were gonna love him in it.”
