D4vd’s Final Text Messages With 14-Year-Old Murder Victim Revealed in Court

The alleged text exchanges between D4vd and Celeste Rivas Hernandez have been revealed in court this week.

During a court session on Monday (July 27), LAPD detective Corey Farrell presented the alleged messages sent between the 21-year-old singer, who is charged with murder along with other offenses in connection to the teenager’s death at the age of 14 in April last year.

One day before D4vd allegedly stabbed her, the two were apparently arguing about him talking to another girl.

“And u rlly saying youd [sic] end ur friendship just to be friends w her over me is disturbing and disgusting to me on a deeper level david,” she allegedly wrote on April 22, 2025, via People.

“what did i say id [sic] end my friendship with you for her,” he allegedly responded, to which she wrote back that she would “end your career and your life.”

One day later, she allegedly asked to see him and said D4vd had “1 more chance” to tell her the “truth,” and that she would “leak all of the s–t” if she saw him with the girl again.

He allegedly ordered an Uber for Celeste to his place in West Hollywood home and gave her updates on the car, to which she responded “okkk.”

“girly pop im almost there open your door if you are home,” she later allegedly texted, to which he allegedly responded: “got you,” and about 10 minutes later said, “gate open door unlocked.”

Prosecutors believe she died between 10:10 p.m. and 10:31 p.m. on April 23, 2025, two days before the release of his debut album Withered. They also claim that his phone and car departed his home at 11:31 p.m. that evening.

He then allegedly sent messages asking where she was, including “bro” at 11:37 p.m., and then said “ur scaring me” and “where are you please.”

More than 40 images of child sex abuse involving the late teen were found on the singer’s iPhone, plus photos of the two engaging in sexual activity, according to the detective’s testimony.

D4vd was arrested and charged with the murder of the 14-year-old this year, and is accused of dismembering the late teenager with a chainsaw after fatally stabbing her by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. He pled not guilty after being charged with one count of murder, one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14, and one count of unlawful mutilation of human remains.
