Tyriq Withers has booked his next movie role!
The 27-year-old actor, best known for his roles in Him and Reminders of Him, will be starring opposite Isabel May in Amazon MGM Studios’ romantic comedy Love Love from writer-director Joey Power.
The movie follows “a struggling tennis phenom who falls for a charismatic local ball boy at the US Open. Their unlikely romance just might be the spark she needs to make it to the finals,” according to Deadline. Joey Power co-wrote the screenplay with Daniel Sweren-Becker.
Along with starring in the movie, Tyriq and the 25-year-old Scream 7 actress will also both be serving as executive producers.
Isabel is also known for her roles in the Netflix series Alexa and Katie, the Paramount+ series 1883, and the CBS series Young Sheldon. She’ll next be starring alongside Jennifer Lopez in The Last Mrs. Parrish.
Production with Love Love is currently scheduled to begin this fall in New York.
