Another longtime cast member is returning to the NCIS universe!
Michael Weatherly will be back for season 24 of the hit CBS TV show in the role of Special Agent Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo. He originated the role, and starred for years on the franchise favorite.
Variety reports that Michael will be back for a season-long arc when the show returns in the fall. No other information has been revealed at this time, but stay tuned as we learn more.
Previously, Michael starred in 13 seasons of NCIS, and appeared in over 300 episodes.
Most recently, he returned to the role in NCIS: Tony & Ziva alongside Cote de Pablo. That show was canceled by Paramount+.
NCIS currently stars Sean Murray, Wilmer Valderrama, Brian Dietzen, Diona Reasonover, Katrina Law and Gary Cole.
