'Hot Ones' Expands to Netflix With New Live Event Specials - Just Jared - Celebrity News and Gossip

Hot Ones is getting a new home on Netflix!
The streamer has ordered Hot Ones: Extra Heat, a new extension of the hugely popular YouTube interview series hosted by Sean Evans. The specials will be tied to Netflix’s live events, bringing the spicy wings and celebrity interviews outside the show’s usual studio setup.
The first episode is set to premiere after baseball’s Home Run Derby on July 13. Will Ferrell, Fortune Feimster and Jimmy Tatro will be the first guests, ahead of their upcoming Netflix comedy series The Hawk, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
“As a student of the late-night genre, I’m obsessed with the art of the interview and believe that these conversations warrant a level of scale and spectacle that sometimes can’t be contained by a studio,” Sean said in a statement. “It’s exciting to partner with Netflix to continue to break new ground with the format, while keeping the core of what fans love about Hot Ones firmly intact.”
Hot Ones first launched in 2015 and has since produced more than 400 episodes. The flagship series will continue to live on YouTube, along with spinoffs Hot Ones Versus and Hot Ones Wing Pong.
First We Feast CEO Chris Schonberger said the company is excited to bring Hot Ones to “some of the biggest, most culturally impactful moments on the service.”
